I took a lot of things for granted when I was younger, but fortunately, I had a lot of great memories from living on the farm.  I remember the fields with corn, tomatoes, potatoes, and hay.  There were the bare trees during the long winter months, and finally, spring would come with new sprouting flowers and plants.

We created a frame from 3/4" flat steel.  The flower is made from recycled spoons, and the dragon fly is made from a nail with silverware wings.  Finally, a piece of fused glass is attached for the dragon fly's body.

Here's a star burst flower atop a four foot high stem.

Here's a flower created from an old pole insulator atop a piece of tubing.  We've used flat steel for the leaves.
